NDID has established an endowment fund through NDSU Development Foundation to benefit NDSU Interior Design students, named after NDID's founding member. The endowment is a permanent investment of funds that provide a stable, ongoing source of money for scholarships.

Started in 2014, NDID continues to add funds yearly. Until the endowment reaches maturity and can support the scholarships, NDID will continue to provide one scholarship per year.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be a junior in the NDSU Interior Design program and a current NDID member at the time of application and distribution. The scholarship recipient will assume the NDID board position of Student Representative.
