The NCIDQ Study Package includes:
  • Interior Design Reference Manual
  • NCIDQ IDFX: Sample questions & practice exam
  • NCIDQ IDPX: Sample questions & practice exam
  • NCIDQ Interior Design Practicum practice exam
  • Interior Design in a Flash flashcard system: Rapid Review of key topics (410 cards)

Multiple Choice Exam Prep: IDFX & IDPX
Each practice test includes 50 multiple-choice questions, a sample of the types of questions that will be on the IDFX and IDPX exams (the actual IDFX has 125 questions and the actual IDPX has 175 questions). During the practice tests, you can mark a question and return to it later. At the end of the practice test, you receive a report that provides your results by the content areas of each section. This breakdown helps you see your strengths and weakness so you can best prepare for the exam.  At the end of the simulated test you can also learn why you missed any test answers. You can only complete the exam once, but you can take up to 10 days to finish it.
Practicum Exam Prep
The NCIDQ Exam’s Practice Design Problems (PDPs) simulate the actual testing experience, thus helping you prepare for the newly formatted practicum section of the exam. The new PDP is a complete sample examination that includes the same types of exercises you will find on the actual exam.
Practice Design Problems come with:
  • Problem booklets and codes for all three parts of the exam.
  • 18” x 24” vellum drawing sheets.
New PDPs will be released after each practicum exam. Practice Design Problems are available to anyone; you do not have to be an approved exam candidate to purchase them.
